The price of the dollar closed lower and stood at S / 3.8970, its lowest level in 7 months, at the end of operations on Wednesday, January 12. The greenback started the day at S / 3,899, as reported by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

In this way, the currency decreased by 0.28% compared to the close of last Tuesday, January 11, when it stood at S / 3.9080. The purchase in the parallel market was located at S / 3.88 and the sale at S / 3.92. As for the price of the dollar in the windows of the main banks, it is located in the purchase S / 3.81 and the sale S / 3.99, in the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP).

Likewise, it accumulates a gain of 2.36% against the sun so far in 2022, after closing at S / 3.9910 in 2021.
