Qori Pacha: Peruvian gastronomy opens to the world from Dubai

This Wednesday, Qori Pacha, a Peruvian restaurant, will be inaugurated in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) at Expo Dubai 2020, they report from PromPerú.

Along these lines, they recall that our country has been named eight consecutive times as the Best Culinary Destination in the world by the World Travel Awards and one of the most important gastronomic centers in the region.

The chefs that make up the Peruvian team are Richard Flores (Puno), Biviana Challalpa (Ayacucho), David Sánchez (Amazonas), Roger Falcón (Arequipa), José Antonio Nogueira (Loreto), Agustín Jordán (Lambayeque), Rossana Rossi (Tacna) and Mónica Huerta (Arequipa); In addition, the experienced chef Flavio Solórzano will be part of the cast.

In addition, they detail that Jesús García and Sebastián Aruestra will be resident chefs in charge of Qori Pacha from its inauguration until March 31, 2022, the date on which the mega-event culminates. Likewise, Sergio Ocmin and Dante Cossio complete the team of experts in the cocktail and barista positions, respectively.


Promperú and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism will seek during the six months of Expo 2020 Dubai, that small entrepreneurs and local SMEs know and explore the demands of the Arab world.

Thus, they recall that 40 of the 100 most important companies in the world operate in Dubai. In addition, 11% of global fashion is bought by the Arab world, which sums up the great purchasing power of that region.
