Dollar in Peru: exchange rate closed at S / 3.9480 this Tuesday, October 19

The price of the dollar closed with a slight rise and stood at S / 3.9480 in operations on Tuesday, October 19, after starting the day at S / 3,9472, as reported by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

In this way, the greenback raised its price for the second consecutive session, after reporting a downward trend between October 7 and 14.

Thus, the currency decreased by 0.03% compared to the close of last Monday, October 19, when it stood at S / 3.9490. The purchase in the parallel market was located at S / 3,930 and the sale at S / 3,960. As for the price of the interbank dollar, it stands at the purchase of S / 3,944 and the sale of S / 4,987 in the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP).

This occurs while the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez, meets with the members of different benches of the Congress of the Republic in the framework of the request for a vote of confidence.

In the international market, the US dollar registered a drop of 0.44%; but in year-on-year terms it still maintains an increase of 5.19%, according to Reuters in an analysis of the last seven days.
