Peru works: more than 1,100 immediate intervention activities will be financed in 2022

A total of 969 districts will be prioritized to participate in the call for Immediate Intervention Activities (AII) in educational premises, which will be financed by the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE), through the Work Peru Program, during 2022.

54% of these local governments are not in the technical document of District Geographic Targeting 2021-2022, which is why they may receive financing for the generation of short-term jobs and, at the same time, improve access to educational services with the cleaning, maintenance and conditioning of a local school.

In this call, the MTPE program plans to finance more than 1,100 activities with a budget of S / 118,017,600, with the aim of generating temporary work for the benefit of the most needy population. Thus, it is estimated that this intervention will allow the production of more than 57,000 temporary jobs.

The maximum financing of each IIA will be S / 100,000, considering a minimum of 40% intensity of unskilled labor and a number of temporary jobs to be generated between 35 and 110. The activities may be executed within a period of 21 days skillful.

The program Peru works, through its 20 zonal units in regions, will provide technical assistance for the preparation of IIA technical sheets from December 9, 2021 to January 14, 2022.
