More than 500 lots of Bell’s panettone will be sold again, says Peruvian Supermarkets

After the decision adopted by the Consumer Protection Commission N ° 3 of Indecopi, The sale and distribution of Bell’s panettone was again authorized after the precautionary measure imposed on the product for allegedly containing an excessive amount of trans fat greater than that allowed and it was withdrawn from the market on December 2.

Through a statement, Peruvian Supermarkets stated that more than 500 batches of the popular sponge cake that had been taken out of public display, will be re-marketed in your sales channels. It should be noted that this product was withdrawn at the time after the alert made by Indecopi to the public.

“With this authorization, the company will be able to offer through all sales channels the panettones of more than 500 lots that were immobilized at the time,” said Supermercados Peruanos.

On the other hand, they specified that the corresponding analysis of these products was carried out in independent laboratories accredited by the National Institute of Quality (Inacal).

“Over 100% of batches have been analyzed in independent laboratories (…) accredited by Inacal, which confirm that these products comply with current regulations (DS n ° 033-2016-SA) ”, stated the company.
