To guarantee the supply of the country’s hydrocarbon market, Petroperú made a new call for the purchase of Biodiesel B100 to cover the demand of the state company for the production of fuels.
It should be noted that, on December 23, the state company declared void the bidding contracts with the Heaven Petroleum Operators company for the period January-April 2022 after questions and suspicions of possible irregularities.
The new call began on January 5 with the sending of invitations to participate in the process to qualified national and international suppliers with experience in supplying this fuel.
The process will culminate with the delivery of the award on January 11, according to the established schedule.
With this acquisition of biodiesel B100, for which Petroperú has requested the simultaneous control of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic through its Office of the Institutional Control Body, the demand of the state company will be covered.
“The process will be carried out with total transparency, in accordance with the hydrocarbon acquisition procedure, in addition to taking into account the recommendation made in the legal technical report by which the purchase of national B100 biodiesel made between October and November of 2021 ″, said Petroperú.
