The Congope reported that the resources were deposited by the Ministry of Finance on December 30, 2021.
Following the agreement reached between the Assembly of Prefects and Prefects of the country with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), the Government transferred $ 806.2 million to the provinces for pending state allocations.
This was reported by the Consortium of Provincial Autonomous Governments of Ecuador (Congope) and indicated that the resources were deposited on December 30, 2021. The money received will allow financing the local public works, the Consortium highlighted.
The Congope pointed out that the Ministry of Finance made a commitment with the prefectures to start a schedule of pending payments related to amounts of the Territorial Equity Model, current irrigation, investment irrigation 2020, Puerto Bolívar, VAT refund and FINGAS I and II.
