In this way, the value of the foreign currency shows an increase of 0.20% in relation to the closing of Friday, December 31, when it stood at S / 3.9910, according to the report of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.

For its part, the purchase of the dollar in the parallel market is at S / 3,960, while the sale amounts to S / 4,000. Likewise, the price of the green ticket in the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) is quoted at S / 3,963, the purchase and sale at S / 4,013, according to the portal Cualcuestaeldolar.

This occurs after the Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos, announced that the start of a third wave of COVID-19 in the country is “very likely” as a result of the increase in infections and the advance of the omicron variant in various regions. .
