They launch second call for Techo Propio for construction on site: there will be 11,363 bonds

The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) ordered the second national call for the Techo Propio housing program and modified the Operating Regulations to access the Family Housing Bonus (BFH) in this modality.

Through Ministerial Resolution No. 328-2021-HOUSING, the Mivivienda Fund program summons Technical Entities with current registration, as well as the population at the national level that has the status of Eligible Family Group and meets the requirements to access to the Family Housing Bonus, to participate in the delivery of 11,363 new BFH. That is, 11,363 Peruvian households that will be able to finish the dream of their own home.

“This call reaches the granting of up to 11,363 Family Housing Bonds, for the modality of application of Construction on Own Site, with which the Eligible Family Groups in excess of the Second Call at the national level of the Techo Propio Program for the year will be served 2020, approved by Ministerial Resolution No. 131-2020-HOUSING and the First Call at the national level of the Techo Propio Program for the year 2021, approved by Ministerial Resolution No. 016-2021-HOUSING ”, the document refers.

In addition, it is provided that the status of Eligible Family Group remains in force until the Technical Entities request the allocation and disbursement of the BFH included in this call.

The maximum term that the Technical Entities have to request the allocation and disbursement of the BFH, including the possible correction of observations to the submitted requests, expires on March 4, 2022.

BFH: Modify the regulations of the Family Housing Bonus

In the same way, the MVCS ordered the modification of the Operating Regulations to access the Family Housing Bonus (BFH) for the Construction on Own Site application modality.

For example, the Mivivienda Fund receives, by regulation, the same number of project registration files as the number of BFH called (11,363 in this new call). But now, if you do not fill the number of vacancies, you can receive, one time only, new project registration files, for the term established in its digital headquarters.

Also the Single Building Form (FUE), stamped with the receipt or simple copy of the Building License Resolution issued by the respective municipality, will be replaced by a Building License issued by the corresponding Municipality at the time of submitting the Project registration files and granting of the project code.

Finally, among the requirements for the release of work, the FUE with charge of “reception or Resolution of Conformity of Work and Declaration of Building issued by the corresponding Municipality” will be replaced by a Conformity of Work and Declaration of Building issued by the corresponding Municipality, according to Law No. 29090, Law for the Regulation of Urban Qualifications and Buildings, and its amendments.

Own Roof: What is Own Site Construction?

It is the modality of Own Roof Program aimed at families who have their own land or independent airs registered in Public Registries, without charges or encumbrances, to build their home.

The execution of the construction works is in charge of a Technical Entity – ET authorized by the Mivivienda Fund. If you wish to participate in this modality, you must be the owner of the property on which the construction will be carried out and not be the owner of another land, air or another home.

How can I build my house with my own roof?

  1. You must have land registered in Public Registries without charges or encumbrances and not have other land or housing nationwide.
  2. A Call must be in force in the province where you have your land so that you can enroll in the Program.
  3. Once enrolled in the Program, you must choose an ET authorized by the My Home Fund to build the home.
  4. You must sign a Work Contract with the ET of your choice. Do not forget to demand a copy of the contract to know your rights and duties, as well as those of the Technical Entity.
  5. The construction of the house begins once the Bond is paid to the Technical Entity.
