Corporación Favorita opened 11 new stores of different formats (Supermaxi, Akí, Titán, Super Balances) and remodeled the infrastructure of Supermaxi Plaza Norte
The investment in these premises is part of the $ 750 million that Corporación Favorita will invest until 2022 in four areas: commercial, industrial, real estate and environmental. With this initiative it is expected to generate new direct employment positions. Currently, Corporación Favorita has more than 16 thousand employees in Ecuador.

New distribution center is built in Panama
Corporación Favorita will finance, over the next 5 years, the construction of the new Grupo Rey Distribution Center, one of the largest food retail platforms in Panama, with 102 branches in eight different formats. $ 80 million will be invested in the center and 1,200 jobs will be created during its construction and another 400 during its operation stage, which will benefit 45,000 families in the Pacora district, eastern sector of Panama.

Pilot Plan of internal vaccination for workers of private companies
Favorita supports the expansion of the coverage of the national Vaccination Plan by donating supplies and supplies to the Ministry of Health. Vaccination began on July 5, 2021 and was carried out in nine cities in Ecuador, vaccinating more than 5,000 people in one day.
Currently, the company also supports logistics and operations for the vaccination of youth and children nationwide.

The BASC Certification Committee endorses Corporación Favorita as a company that guarantees that both in its facilities and in its export processes its cargo does not have the possibility of contamination (contraband and drugs) at any stage, ensuring safe trade based on analysis carried out on the results of the audit carried out on the company’s Control and Security Management System.
