The Ministry of Production (Produce) extended the term of execution of the exploratory fishing of the resource hake (Merluccius gayi peruanus), authorized to the Institute of the Sea of Peru (IMARPE) with the participation of the artisanal fishing boats that have a valid fishing permit.
According to the ministerial resolution published today in the official gazette A Peruvian man, the extension is until March 31, 2022.
The norm details that the General Directorate of Policies and Regulatory Analysis in Fisheries and Aquaculture, the General Directorate of Artisanal fishing and the General Directorate of Supervision, Inspection and Sanction of the Vice Ministerial Office of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Produce will carry out the corresponding dissemination actions.
This decision was made at the request of the Directorate of Policies and Regulation of the General Directorate of Policies and Regulatory Analysis in Fisheries and Aquaculture, which through a report requested that the term of execution of the exploratory fishing of the hake resource be extended.
