Through a publication in the Diario El Peruano, the Government authorized the delivery of a extraordinary bonus of S / 1,500 to the administrative and assistance personnel of the Social Health Security (EsSalud), in order to repay all the effort provided during the pandemic by the COVID-19.
Through the Emergency Decree No. 116-202, the Executive pointed out that this bonus payment to health personnel is for the only time:
“It is authorized, for the only time, the granting of an extraordinary bonus that corresponds to S / 1,500 in favor of the assistance personnel and administrative personnel of the Social Health Security that is under the scope of Legislative Decrees 276, 728 and 1057 and that provide health services and support for healthcare work ”, the regulation specifies.
Also, the extraordinary bonus of S / 1,500 Personnel are excluded under the modality of Legislative Decree No. 1057, hired by virtue of literal a) of numeral 27.2 of article 27 of Emergency Decree No. 029-2020.
The Emergency Decree specifies that the funds that will be used for the extraordinary bonus will have a sum of 82 million 332,000 soles in favor of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, to later be transferred in favor of the Social Health Security (EsSalud) .
It is worth mentioning that the regulation is signed by the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo; the head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Mirtha Vásquez; the Minister of Economy and Finance, Pedro Francke; and the Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Betssy Chavez.
