The second group of provincial airports, concessioned to Andean airports of Peru (AAP), registered 4.1 million passengers (10.2 %), while the airports managed by Corpac mobilized about 4.8 million passengers (11.7 %).
Of the total mobilized, 31 million (76%) correspond to national flights, 8.7 million (21%) to international flights and 1.3 million (3%) to passengers in transit.
The busiest airports were the AIJC (25 million), Cusco Airport (4 million), Arequipa (2 million) and Tarapoto airports, with 1.2 million, and Piura with 1 million passengers.
