This port Éten would be designed to become a logistics hub which will enhance the foreign trade of the Peruvian north. Its strategic location will boost the economy of several regions, which would facilitate the export of key products such as coffee, fruits, minerals and industrial goods. According to data from the governor, the port will directly benefit producers from LambayequeCajamarca, Amazonas, San Martín and Loreto.

Within the areas attached to the port, complementary projects will be developed, such as an industrial park, a 1,200 hectare area and an eco-technological park of 120 hectares, which reinforces its impact on the economic development of the country.

The strategic connection of the Port of Eten with the Brazilian market

The port will not only strengthen the commercial relationship with Brazil, but will also be within the network of bioceanic logistics corridors. The infrastructure will facilitate the traffic of goods from and from Manaosthe largest economic center of the Brazilian Amazon, which reduces costs and transport times.
