On Thursday, July 18, the Competitive Business Program awarded nearly 500 Peruvian companies that are generating a change in sustainability in order to bring social, environmental and economic benefits to citizens, carried out by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
In detail, we find companies such as Lima Expresa (electronic toll), Unacem Perú SA (cement), Ferreycorp (multinational capital goods company), Enel Distribución Perú SA (energy distributor), Orygen Perú SA (generator of solar, wind and hybrid projects) and Pesquera Diamante (processing of fishmeal and oil, preserves and fresh and frozen products).
The sectors mainly considered in this award are Services (29%), Manufacturing (17%), Others (15%), Commerce (9%), Transport and Communication (11%), Construction (11%), Agriculture (3%) and Mining and Hydrocarbons (23%); distributed among large companies (27%), large (18%), small (35%) and micro-enterprises (19%).
