Currently, the standard age to access this benefit is 65 years of age and the age limit for cessation is 70 years of age. - Before making a decision, policyholders should be aware that the amount of their pension is reduced by 4% for each year after reaching the age of 65.
- These amounts are not reimbursable, nor are they recalculated when the age of 65 is reached.
In the case of members who request an early retirement pension due to disability, they must have a resolution from the National Council for Disability so that the early discount is not applied. In addition, they must be 55 years old and have 20 years of contributions to the National Pension System. To prove these contributions, they can declare the employment relationship, which must be accompanied by:
- Work certificates.
- Salary payment slips.
- Settlement of time of service or social benefits.
- Certificates of contributions issued by IPSS or EsSalud, among others.
How to access ONP retirement in 2024?
You can apply for your early retirement pension if you wish to retire before the age of 65, which is the requirement established by law. This option is available to members of the National Pension System (DLNº 19990). Just follow these steps:
- Submit your application online through onpvirtual.pe, option “I am contributing.”
- Next, select the option “I want my pension” from the menu and fill in your personal and contact details.
- ONP advisors will contact you to assist you with your application.
- If you choose to process the procedure in person, the ONP has service centers from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and also at the MAC Centers from Monday to Saturday.
