Dollar starts down with S/3.7378 this Friday, July 12

The exchange rate has a cumulative variation of 1.43% and in interannual terms, of 3.81%, according to the BCRP.

The exchange rate started today on a downward trend of S/3.7378, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency quotation portal. That is, 0.59% less than the previous day, when it closed at S/3.7600.

In the parallel market, the greenback is priced at S/3,720 for purchase and S/3,760 for sale; while in the banking market, it is priced at S/3,698 and S/3,802 for purchase and sale, respectively.

On the other hand, the Fed expects red numbers if there are two years of strong economic contraction. Also, after completing the latest round of stress tests, has increased capital requirements for Santander’s US subsidiary. The supervisor has raised the equity buffer from 2.5% to 3.5%.
