Private sector workers must receive their bonus by July 15. In this regard, subordinate private sector workers with permanent, fixed-term and part-time contracts are entitled to it; since, to receive this benefit, the worker is not required to have worked the minimum four-hour day, according to the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL).

It also applies to workers in small businesses, hired after the company has registered in the Micro and Small Enterprise Registry (REMYPE)In this case, they will receive a half-salary bonus in accordance with the Law. Likewise, microenterprise workers who were hired before the company was registered with REMYPE are entitled to a half-salary bonus.

In the case of workers under the Agrarian Labor Regime – Law 31110, they will receive bonuses provided that within five days of starting the employment relationship they have informed their employers that their half-yearly bonuses will be received at the same time as they are paid to workers under the common labor regime, and not together with their daily remuneration.

On the other hand, Those who would not receive a bonus in July would be the workers who, by agreement with the company, receive an annual comprehensive remuneration.In this case, the bonus and the CTS are already included in the annual comprehensive remuneration agreed with the employer.

It does not apply to micro-enterprise workers hired after the micro-enterprise was registered with REMYPE, nor to independent workers, who are not on the payroll. They are regulated by the Civil Code as a service provider.
