There are around 73,000 FONAVISTAS who are being evaluated to determine whether or not they were benefited by electrification works. Jorge Milla believes that “these works were done for all people, regardless of whether or not they were FONAVISTAS, since it is a public service that was not their property.” They are not the only ones waiting for verification of whether they are entitled to a refund of their contributions.

“We also have to decide on the issue of loans from Banco Materiales. There are many people who were loaned money from Banco de Materiales, but that money belonged to the Fonavista, they were loaned their own money. The Fonavista returned that money and paid the interest. Therefore, we consider that they have not benefited from Fonavi resources, since they returned the money,” explained the member of Banco de Materiales. Fenaf Peru.

What group of FONAVISTAS have recently been included as beneficiaries?

The new beneficiary FONAVISTAS lived in areas where the State carried out sanitation works. According to the law, these improvements compensated for the debt, affecting more than 328,000 people. However, the current Ad Hoc Commission has decided to correct this exclusion, allowing more people to receive their contributions.

When will new Fonavi beneficiaries receive their contributions?
