ONP payment schedule in July 2024: which retirees have to collect the first week of the month?

During the month of Fiestas Patrias and three holidays that Peruvians will enjoy, the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) will make the payment of the pension of regime 19990 starting next Friday, July 5. In this way, more than 690,000 insured people will be able to collect their money, according to the first letter of their paternal surname.

But this group of retirees is not the only one waiting with anticipation for their payment. Another 63,000 pensioners from various regimes administered by the ONP will access these economic resources through the Banco de la Nación ATMs or the authorized agents closest to their homes. Below, review all the details of the official calendar of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) for this new month of July.

➤ ONP: Which retirees are due to collect the first week of July?

According to Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 005-2023-EF/11.01, around 700,000 retirees who belong to Decree Law No. 19990 will be able to collect their pensions between Friday, July 5 and Wednesday, July 10. To facilitate this payment, said entity offers its users the option of collecting their pension through six banking entities: Banco de la Nación, BBVA, Interbank, Scotiabank, GNB Perú and BanBif.

In the following lines, review the deposit days for pensioners of this regime administered by the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) since June 1, 1994. Remember that the order is based on the first letter of the paternal surname of each retiree :

• Friday, July 5: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between A and C.
• Monday, July 8: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between D and L.
• Tuesday, July 9: pensioners with paternal surnames beginning with the letters between M and Q.
• Wednesday, July 10: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between R and Z.
• From July 12 to 24: home payment.

➤ Payment dates for pensioners of other regimes

The ONP reported that more than 60,000 pensioners who belong to DL No. 20530 and custom pensions, DL No. 18846, Special Fisheries Regime and pensioners of Complementary Risk Work Insurance will collect their money on Thursday July 11. Likewise, the Monday, July 15 The payment will be made to retirees who live outside the country and receive their pension through international agreements.

In the case of home payment to the insured of the aforementioned schemes, this will be made from July 16 to 24.

In the case of pensioners with health problems, advanced age or those who prefer to stay at home, they can request the delivery of their money in the comfort of their homes. In this sense, the ONP payers will visit more than 9,000 retirees so that they receive this amount between Friday 12th and Wednesday 24th July.

Since Lima has the largest number of insured people who use this free service, the visits of ONP workers are divided into three zones: North Lima, South Lima and Central Lima. It must be taken into account that if the retiree is not at home during the established dates, the money not delivered will return to his or her savings account and will be taken with the next month’s amount.

1. Make your request through the platform onpvirtual.pe.
2. Select the ‘pension collection’ option and click on ‘I want to request home payment’.
3. Next, enter your ONP virtual key and complete the form with your personal information, email address and the address where you wish to receive payment.
4. The result of the request will reach you at mail that you provided within an average of five days from when you submitted your request.
5. Remember that the total amount of the pension is delivered only into the hands of the pensioner.
