New mall in Lurín opens in December 2024: these are the stores, gyms and supermarkets it will have

Lurin is about to undergo a commercial transformation with the arrival of KM40an innovative shopping centre that promises a unique shopping and entertainment experience based on its design. This project is led by Alta Visione Investments and will feature a wide variety of high-profile brands and stores.

KM40 not only seeks to meet the commercial needs of residents and visitors in the area, but also to set a new standard in infrastructure and services. Since its start in January 2024, construction has advanced significantly, ensuring that the opening in December will mark a turning point in local commerce.

What will KM40, Lurín’s new shopping centre, be like?

The KM40 shopping centre will have a three-storey commercial structure and a basement for parking. The building covers more than 13,000 m² of roofed area, of which around 10,000 m² are intended for leasing.

Each floor of the shopping center will have a specific layout to maximize the comfort and accessibility of visitors. On the first level, you will find service stores, cafes, ice cream parlors, banks, opticians and health establishments.

The second level will be dedicated to gastronomy and entertainment, with five restaurants that will debut in the small south, in addition to various fast food options and commercial modules. Finally, on the third level, there will be a gym, sports shops, paddle tennis courts and an exclusive rooftop with panoramic views of the sea.

What shops, gyms and supermarkets will it have?

KM40 has already confirmed the presence of several recognized brands, ensuring a varied and attractive commercial offer. Among the stores that will open their doors are Edo, Sarcletti, Häagen-DazsCinnabon, aromaEyes Illusion, Rip Curl and Coliseum PeruOther well-known brands such as New Balance, Hi-Tec Peru, Merrell and Caterpillar are also expected to join the lineup, thus expanding the range of options for consumers.

In addition, the shopping center will have a wong supermarket, the first to establish itself in Lurín, occupying a space of 3,000 m². This supermarket will be a key piece in attracting local residents and visitors to the Lurín Industrial Park, offering a wide range of products and services.

The gym Smart Fitwhich will occupy part of the third floor, will be one of the main attractions of the shopping center, providing residents of the south chico with an option for their exercise routines.

Shopping center in Lurín: how much has been invested?

The total investment for the construction of KM40 amounts to S/50 million, a significant sum destined to create a first-class shopping center. This investment has not only allowed the creation of a modern and efficient infrastructure, but has also fostered the creation of more than 120 direct jobs.

José Zegarra, general manager of Alta Visione Investments, has told Perú Retail that he foresees a 28% increase in the presence of inhabitants and floating public by 2026, driven by the opening of KM40.

Where is the KM40 shopping centre in Lurín located?

The KM40 shopping center is strategically located at kilometer 40 of the old Panamericana Sur, in the heart of the “small south.” This location allows easy access for both local residents and visitors who come to the area during high season, especially due to its proximity to various beach resorts that attract hundreds of thousands of tourists every year.
