The dollar has accumulated a variation of 2.81% so far this year and 4.81% year-on-year, according to the BCRP.
The exchange rate started lower today with S/3.8183, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal. That is, 0.19% more than the previous day, where it closed at S/3.8110, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).
In the parallel market, the greenback is at S/3,790 for purchase and S/3,820 for sale; while in banking, the purchase and sale is at S/3,772 and S/3,857, respectively.
On the other hand, The Fed warned that the evolution of the disinflation process has not yet reached the point where it is appropriate to lower interest rates. There is a willingness to raise rates in the event that stagnation or reversal is seen in the alleviation of price pressures.
