Dollar starts lower with S/3.7969 this Monday, June 24

The exchange rate started lower today with S/3.7969, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal. That is, 0.13% less than the previous day, where it closed at S/3.8020.

In the parallel market, the greenback is at S/3,780 for purchase and S/3,810 for sale; while in banking, the purchase and sale is at S/3,750 and S/3,836, respectively.

On the other hand, the president of the Federal Reserve Bank (Fed) of Chicago, Austan Goolsbee, pointed out that the Fed’s monetary policy is restrictive and added that The slowdown in inflation data would open the door to a more flexible policyaccording to Reuters.
