The most important aspects of buying a home are the kitchen, master bedroom, secondary bedrooms, and parking. The Best Place to Live Peru survey indicates that 30% of Lima residents feel little or not at all qualified to acquire a property.
Only 35% of Lima residents feel qualified to buy a home and only 4% feel very qualified, according to the real estate purchase decision study, prepared by Best Place to Live Perú.
In the report, it was recorded that the most important aspects for potential buyers are the kitchen (17%) and the master bedroom (16%), followed by the secondary bedrooms (11%) and the parking (10%).
“It is vital that real estate agencies understand these priorities and adjust their offers to meet buyers’ expectations. A home is not only a financial investment, but also a living space that must meet the needs and desires of the buyer.“said Cinthia Pasache, representative of Best Place to Live in Peru.
However, it was recorded that if Peruvians actively searching had to buy a home tomorrow, 15% would feel not at all qualified and another 15% would feel little qualified to do so. This is partly because they do not have clear and accessible information to make an informed decision.
Likewise, it is also important that the industry can improve communication and after-sales service with a customer-focused approach, and due to the lack of continuous support, only 24% would recommend the real estate agency.
