‘Cashback’ and discounts announced by Rappi for the Christmas season

The Rappi platform announced alliances with Banco Guayaquil and Diners Club to generate cashback and discounts from 40% on purchases this Christmas season.

Alejandro friend, general manager of Rappi in Ecuador, reported that with Banco Guayaquil every Friday for purchases from $ 80 in supermarkets they will receive 45% of cashback, in credits with Rappi; and with Diners they will have 40% in restaurants (every Tuesday); 25% in Supermaxi and Megamaxi (Wednesdays), 45% in fruits and vegetables.

Rappi was founded in 2015, has more than 100 million downloads and is present in 9 countries and more than 250 cities in the region. In Ecuador, the application is present in more than five cities, has more than 3,000 allies and has more than 3,500 registered distributors.

Freund explained that these strategic alliances with commercial premises, which use the application as a showcase to publicize their value proposition and learn important data from their customers, allow them to deliver a differentiated and specific offer, with practically personalized promotions.

He highlighted that currently there are more than 4,500 establishments affiliated with Rappi, with more than 2,500 national and international alliances, which are increasing.

“This allows the platform to maximize the potential of benefits for users, in each of its categories,” said Freund, who highlighted the supermarkets section, which groups together the main establishments nationwide, such as Supermaxi, Megamaxi , Santa María, Gran Akí, Coral, Tía, among others. (I)
