More than 75,000 Fonavistas will receive their money for the first time

The ad hoc commission of the Fonavi gave the green light to the incorporation of more than 75,000 older adults who, despite their contributions to the failed system, have not received a single penny because they reside in places where the State carried out sanitation and electrification works, and with this, the law gave for honoring the debt. The Constitutional Court even placed a lock that affects a universe of more than 328,000 excluded Fonavistas.

However, The 2020 Congress insisted that access to these benefits did not represent any benefit, and that is why the current ad hoc commission – empowered to manage the delivery of contributions – seeks to honor the debt owed to this group of retirees since, in this case, the drainage networks are not the property of Fonavista and said works were carried out with private money, according to Jorge Milla, representative of the National Federation of Fonavistas and Pensioners of Peru – Fenaf.

“It was never integrated into their home, but on the contrary, it is the property of the concessionaire company,” adds the National Federation of Fonavistas and Pensioners Association.

How to recover contributions?

Milla explains that this group of Fonavistas has presented evidentiary documents in previous years, But the factors already mentioned limited their participation in the 20 return lists.
