The minister of Transport and comunicationRaúl Pérez Reyes pointed out that they are thinking about developing a logistics axis project to significantly improve the Panamericana Norte. Likewise, in the construction of the Chancay-Chancayllo Avoidance Road and a new road to form a road pair of the Pasamayo bypass.
“The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) considered it of vital importance to develop a logistical axis that includes the improvement of the Panamericana Norte, with the construction of an overpass, in addition to the Chancay-Chancayllo Avoidance Road, the new road to form the road pair of the Pasamayo variant and the railway between Lima and Barranca that will pass through Chancay,” said Pérez Reyes.
Connectivity is sought between Callao and Chancay
The aforementioned projects are part of the National Transportation Logistics Services and Infrastructure Plan for 2032, with the objective of developing the Chancay-Callao axis.
“We are working on all these projects, some have finished profiles and others are being developed. In some cases they are already at the technical file level, that is, we are talking about works that are on track to see results in the following years,” stated the leader of the MTC, Raúl Pérez Reyes.
