The exchange rate started rising today with S/3.7769, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal. That is, 0.077% less than the previous day, where it closed at S/3.7740.
In the parallel market, the greenback is now at S/3,760 for purchase and S/3,790 for sale; while in banking, the purchase and sale is at S/3,728 and S/3,817, respectively.
On the other hand, Fed maintains rates at their highest levels in the last 23 years, in the range between 5.25% and 5.5%. This is how the de-escalation is delayed again.
So far this year, the dollar has accumulated a variation of 1.81% and in interannual terms, of 3.40%, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).
