The exchange rate started lower today with S/3.7824, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal. That is, 0.68% more than the previous day, where it closed at S/3.7570.
In the parallel market, the greenback is now at S/3.75 for purchase and S/3.79 for sale; while in banking, the purchase and sale is at S/3,734 and S/3,820, respectively.
On the other hand, This week the focus will be on the US headline inflation numbers., which will be known on the same day that the Fed communicates its monetary policy decision. No changes in rates are expected.
