So far this year, the dollar has accumulated a variation of 1.35%.
The exchange rate would close this 2024 between S/3.75 and S/3.76, according to the latest Macroeconomic Expectations Survey of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).
In detail, economic analysts reduced their projection on the future of the US currency in our market from S/3.77 to S/3.75. By 2025 and 2026, they expect it to reach S/3.80.
Companies in the financial system have maintained their estimate at S/3.75 since March, and are also waiting for that threshold for next year. Looking ahead to 2026, they score S/3.78.
Meanwhile, non-financial ones fell from S/3.79 —in March— to S/3.76. For the next two years, they estimate that the dollar will be at S/3.80.
It is worth adding that the exchange rate has accumulated a variation of 1.35% so far this year, and in interannual terms, of 1.87%.
