However, with the recent update, The new limit has been set at S/950. It is important to note that both limit options are still available to users. When downloading the application, the system has the amount of S/500 integrated as the default option, but users can modify it according to their needs and preferences. This change in the maximum limit seeks to provide users with greater flexibility and comfort when carrying out their transactions through Yape.

How to create a Yape account with DNI?

Having Yape from your cell phone is extremely simple. Enter the ‘Play Store’ from your mobile device, install the purple application and follow these simple steps:

• Open the application and click on the ‘Create a new account’ option.
• Then, you will be asked for the phone number. You will need to enter it as a text message will be sent to you.
• You must enter the code that will be sent to you via text message (MSM), then click ‘Validate code’.
• The application will ask you for the type of document you wish to affiliate. You must select ‘DNI’, then enter your 8 digits and email. The email must be active, as you will be notified of the movements of your Yape.
• You will then proceed to create a password. This must be 6 digits. This step must be done calmly and taking appropriate precautions.
