During the opening ceremony of the V Congress of Amazonian Entrepreneurs (CEA) 2024, the urgency of joint work between the public and private sectors, the legal security of indigenous peoples and the technological development of productive chains was addressed.
Within the framework of the inauguration of the V Congress of Amazonian Entrepreneurs (CEA) 2024, the regional governor of Huánuco, Antonio Pulgar, handed over his position as president of the Amazonian Commonwealth to Manuel Gambini, regional governor of Ucayali.
Gambini highlights the importance between the private sector and the public sector to move the Peruvian Amazon forward, as well as the legal security of the indigenous peoples.
It was learned that, during March of this year, 25 property titles have been granted to native communities, and it is intended to deliver 123 more titles soon.
It is important to highlight that Ucayali alone concentrates nearly 500 native communities, of the 20 different ethnic groups that exist in the region and that property titling protects their territory and, with it, their culture.
For his part, Pulgar emphasizes the preponderant role that civil society also plays, as well as the need to support productive chains through technological innovations.
