So far in 2023, the dollar has an accumulated variation of 0.51% and in interannual terms, of 1.50%, according to the BCRP.
The exchange rate started rising today with S/3.7271, according to preliminary data from the Bloomberg international currency exchange portal. That is, 0.03% more than the previous day, where it closed at S/3.7260.
In the parallel market, the greenback is now at S/3.71 for purchase and S/3.73 for sale; while in banking, the purchase and sale is at S/3,686 and S/3,773, respectively.
On the other hand, in the United States it was shown that inflation rose in April and that price pressures remained above the 2% target set. Operators value the possibility of a rate cut in September at 60%.
