In addition, the exchange rate in the parallel market is S / 3,980 for the purchase and S / 4,020 for the sale. As for Sunat, this state entity quotes the greenback at S / 4,062 for the purchase and S / 4,067 for the sale.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) modified Peru’s economic expectations and now foresees a growth of the PBI of 10% for this year. While by 2022 they expect the economy to reach 4.6%. In this way, the country will remain one of the strongest economies in South America, whose average growth is 2.3%.

On the other hand, the Federation of Entrepreneurs of Gamarra (Fedegama) expressed that sectoral confidence is regaining after the appointment of Mirtha Vásquez as prime minister, since she is perceived as more concerted.
