We are just a few weeks away from the end of April and thousands of retirees are already beginning to ask about the next date on which they will be able to collect their pensions.. For May, the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) offers its users the possibility of accessing this money through ATMs, authorized agents or through home visits.
From the 8th to the 13th of next month, pensioners of the Decree Law No. 19990 They have to pay attention to the payment schedule of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, which is prepared based on the first letter of their paternal surname. In total, there are more than 750,000 insured people from various schemes who will benefit from the deposit made by the ONP.
ONP, May: review the payment dates for pensioners of decree law 19990
The Pension Normalization Office (ONP) will begin paying pensions to more than 751,000 retirees from various regimes between Wednesday, May 8 and Monday, May 13 of the same month. According to the official MEF schedule, the first group that will receive this deposit will be the pensioners of the 19990 regime, who must follow this order according to the first letter of their paternal surname:
- Wednesday, May 8: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between A and C.
- Thursday, May 9: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between D and L.
- Friday 10th May: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between M and Q.
- Monday, May 13: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between R and Z.
- Wednesday, May 15: international agreement. They include pensioners from Law No. 27803
- From May 14 to 23: home payment.
When will they pay pensioners from other schemes?
The pensioners of the regimes 18846, 20530 and custom pensions 30003 (Special Social Security Regime for Fishing Workers and Pensioners) and 26790 (Complementary Risk Work Insurance) will be able to access their money on Tuesday, May 14. In the case of home payment to the insured of these schemes, this will be made from May 17 to 23.
ONP: when will home pension payments be made in May?
From Tuesday, May 14 to Thursday, the 23rd of the same month, an ONP payer will visit the more than 9,500 pensioners who requested this modality to deliver their pension in the warmth of their homes. It must be taken into account that if the retiree is not at her home during the established dates, the money not delivered will return to his savings account and will be taken with the next month’s amount.

- Make your request through the onpvirtual.pe platform.
- Choose the ‘collect pension’ option and click ‘I want to request payment at home’.
- Next, enter your ONP virtual code and complete the form with your personal information, email and the address where you wish to receive the payment.
- The result of the request will arrive to the email you provided within an average period of five days from when you entered your request.
- Remember that the full amount of the pension is delivered only into the hands of the pensioner.
