Like every month, the Banco de la Nación is getting ready to start a new payment process for the public sector and pensioners of the ONP. According to the schedule approved in December 2023, retirees will be the first to receive their money at the beginning of May. Additionally, public sector workers will from the fortnight of the same month. In the following note find out the dates, work regimes included, as well as the order in which this will occur during the next month.
The payment of retirees and public sector workers is contemplated in the Decree Law No. 19990 and the Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 005-2023-EF/11.01 respectively. The documents show the dates and modalities in which these large groups will obtain their remunerations. In May, the process will get underway with the payment of retirees from the Pension Normalization Office (ONP).
ONP: collection of pensions in May 2024 at Banco de la Nación
As stipulated in Decree Law 19990, the Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 005-2023-EF/11.01 established the dates on which more than 680,000 people will receive their pension. According to annex 3 of this last document, the payment of the DL 19990 It will begin on Wednesday the 8th and will end on Thursday the 23rd.. This will depend mainly on the paternal surname of the retirees and the method in which they will receive said pension, whether through payment to the Banco de la Nación or payment at home.
