The Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) declared the dissolution of four cooperatives nationwide and declared the exclusion of two of them from the National Registry of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Not Authorized to Capture Public Resources (COOPAC).
These are the cooperatives Crediban Ltda (Tacna), Credimisti (Arequipa), La Florida (Junín) and Casa Solidaria COOPAC Casasol (Arequipa). The last two had already been subjected to an intervention regimen a month ago.
While Crediban (SBS resolution No. 01429-2024) and Credimisti (SBS resolution No. 01423-2024) were dissolved due to inactivity, La Florida (SBS resolution No. 01422-2024) and Casasol (SBS resolution No. 01421-2024) 2024) will be completely excluded from the COOPAC system, according to the SBS.
