The Expoalimentaria 2024 fair ‘Your products will conquer the world’ expects to exceed the US$540 million in business expectations generated last year. The event, organized by the Association of Exporters (ADEX), will feature more than 650 local and international exhibitors, and more than 25,000 visitors from different countries.
Considering that Peru is the world’s leading exporter of blueberries, grapes, asparagus and quinoa grains, the space provided by the most important food and beverage fair in Latin America will allow it to continue positioning these and other products in the most important markets in the world.
Along these lines, the key operators of distribution, retail, horeca (hotels, restaurants and cafes) and a specialized channel in the national and international market will meet.
The event will take place from September 25 to 27 at the Jockey Plaza Exhibition Center. “For this year, the exhibition area consists of 23,000 m², 25% more in the exhibition area than in the previous edition, with 60% covered to date. In addition, more than 2,800 business appointments have already been made between national and international exhibitors and buyers,” said the director of CIEN-ADEX, Edgar Vásquez Vela.
Of the confirmed exhibiting companies, 86% are national and 14% international, including countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Mexico, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Poland, China and the United States.
The sectors that will converge will be the following: food and beverages, services, containers and packaging, machinery, inputs and finally technology and innovation. Likewise, there will be complementary activities, such as the multi-sector business roundtable and keynote conferences on sustainability, technology and innovation, markets and new trends.
