The Supervisory Body for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin) authorized the company Altamesa, a Petroperú partner, to carry out activities as a Direct Consumer with Mobile Installations in the Andoas Camp – Lot 192 without the obligation to register in the Registry of Hydrocarbons.
Through the resolution of the Board of Directors No. 050-2024-OS/CD, it establishes that, in order to maintain the exception, as well as access to the SCOP, Altamesa must keep the Extracontractual Civil Liability Insurance Policy in force with coverage such as minimum of 100 UIT (S/515,000), during the exception period.
The measure established for ex-Lot 1-AB, considered the largest in the country, will apply until September 15, 2024. Altamesa was recently incorporated as Petroperú’s official partner for this field.
The measure does not exempt Osinergmin from its power to order the corresponding administrative measures in the event of verifying that the activities carried out by the foreign capital company generate imminent danger or serious risk to the life or health of people.
