Victoria’s Secret opens its first store in Ecuador

The panties, bras from the collections Dream Angels o Very Sexy they are already in the country. They arrive with the opening of the first Victoria’s Secret, which took place this Wednesday in Guayaquil.

The American company, renowned for its fragrances and garments, opened together with Bath and Body Works, in the San Marino Shopping. The latter opened last November.

Both brands are brought by Grupo David, a conglomerate of various companies based in Panama.

Vanessa de Souza, marketing coordinator of Victoria’s Secret Latin America, says that the idea of ​​opening a store in Ecuador comes from 2013.

However, due to certain factors at the international level, it has been postponed, until it was finalized in December.

He assures that the interest in being in the country arises from the importance that Ecuador has in the region.

“Since the search to open a store of ours began, the first option was always San Marino, in Guayaquil,” says De Souza.

During these opening days, the store has promotions. For example, bras starting at $ 36, whose sizes start from 32A to 38DDD.

There are two Mists & Lotions for $ 35 and three for $ 45. The fragrances are blackberry fizz, glittering iris, vanilla sparkle, and champagne petals.

In the natural beauty collection there are also promotions such as two products for $ 38 and four products for $ 59. These are lavender & vanilla lotions; mist and pomegranate lotus body lotion.

The option of combining to suit the customer is another of the store’s strategies. For example, for $ 89 you can buy a 50 ml perfume. plus a mist and a lotion. And for $ 109 a perfume of 100 ml., Added a mist and a lotion.

“The store has regular promotions so that the customer can take products. The prices are very similar to other countries, there are promotions on panties, 5×3, depending on the quality of the category, cotton and glamor. Promotions in the beauty line ”, says De Souza.

The lingerie firm has a network of more than 30 beauty and accessories stores in countries such as Peru, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and others. Worldwide there are 1,400 stores. (I)
