After the vote in plenary, Congressman José Luna thanked the parliamentarians for the votes in favor to finalize the project, but also clarified what step Congress would take if the Executive observed this initiative.
“If the Executive observes it, We will approve it at our insistence immediately. We have 95 votes, with that we can approve it by insistence, there is no way to stop the withdrawal of the 4 UITs,” explained the Podemos Peru parliamentarian.
In addition, he clarified what the procedure for the withdrawal of funds would be: “The Superintendency has 15 days to regulate, after 15 days, every worker can immediately proceed to register for the withdrawal of up to 4 UIT, they have 90 days to do that.” .
