With the purpose of intensifying the registration of property titles in Peru, the Informal Property Formalization Agency (Cofopri) is carrying out the “Lot registered by the desired title” campaign, which aims to register more than 6,000 lots urban in various regions such as Ayacucho, Huánuco, La Libertad, Arequipa and others.
Regarding this last department, the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation announced a new visit to more than 700 homes in the Yura and Hunter districts. This visit is aimed at families who could not be present during the visit of the Cofopri brigades or who did not present the required documents to complete the formalization process. Next, review the dates and places that the entity will visit for this fourth month of the year.
Cofopri will once again deliver property titles for FREE: in which regions?
Cofopri carries out registration campaigns to obtain the property title every month with the objective that residents benefit from the individual formalization of their lot. In that sense, the entity’s brigades verify the peaceful, public and continuous possession for housing purposes of the families that occupy the space, and compile the documentation that certifies them as owners.
Within the framework of the “Registered lot, for the desired title” campaign, families from the Yura and Hunter districts in Arequipa will receive a visit from Cofopri between April 10 and 24, in order to provide them with a new opportunity to that complete the individual qualification process.
In addition to this region, the institution attached to the Ministry of Housing will carry out a census of the homes in the regions of Amazonas, Ayacucho, Huánuco, Ica, Junín, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Loreto, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Pasco, Piura, San Martín, Tacna, Tumbes, and Ucayali.
