The Executive appointed Ángel Manuel Manero Campos as the new minister in the Agrarian Development and Irrigation portfolio, replacing Jennifer Contreras Álvarez. According to the page of the National Election Jury (JNE), the new head of Midagri is a member of the Purple Party.

The change in this and five other offices is made following the vote of confidence in the Cabinet of Gustavo Adrianzén, by the Congress of the Republic. The president of the republic, Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, also swore in the new ministers of State in the portfolios of the Interior, Education, Production, Foreign Trade and Tourism and Women and Vulnerable Populations.

Manero Campos, according to his resume, has extensive experience in the agricultural sector. He was manager of Sunshine Export, director of the Agricultural Bank (Agrobanco), general agricultural director of Midagri, associate consultant of Planning & Management, manager of Lima Sur and advisor in Project Development of the Camposur Group, director of Market Development at Sierra Exportadora, among others.
