Amazonas: more than S / 1.6 million to improve water service in Chachapoyas

The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) reported that a total of S / 1 million 664,773 will be transferred to the Municipal Provider of Potable Water and Sewerage Service of Amazonas (EMUSAP SA) to improve drinking water service in the districts of Chachapoyas and Levanto, province of Chachapoyas in the Amazon region.

The transferred resources will allow prepare the technical sheets for the construction of a reservoir in the town of Chachapoyas, for which an investment of S / 334,695. In addition, another water catchment work is being contemplated in the town of Cahuc, which totals S / 1 million 330,078, in the district of Levanto.

CAN SEE

The Technical Agency for the Administration of Sanitation Services (OTASS) will be responsible for supervising the correct execution of the resources and will verify the fulfillment of the planned goals. They also informed that the investment in favor of EMUSAP SA should be used only for the established purposes.

It should be noted that the OTASS has among its competences to strengthen the capacities of the companies that provide sanitation services (EPS) at the national level to improve their management and administration.
