From the Fonavi Ad Hoc Commissionassured La República that the Government of Dina Boluarte seeks to frustrate the delivery of contributions to older adults estimated for this month.

As this newspaper reported a few weeks ago, the Ad Hoc Commission had planned that, starting in the fortnight of March, refunds would be given to those Fonavistas who in the previous lists charged lower amounts. “It is not a list 21,” said Luis Luzuriaga, president of the working group in question.

“They want to go their own way and pay only as of April 15 and, possibly, continue to delay,” commented a source close to the Ad Hoc Commission for this newspaper.

The Fonavistas also ask the Minister of Economy and Finance, José Arista, to comply with giving them a supplementary credit of S/3,300 million to settle the debts of former contributors, since in the 2024 Budget they have not been given a single sol.
