Congresswoman Norma Yarrow presented a bill that guarantees Peruvians with disabilities equal access to pre-professional and professional practices.
Within its guidelines, it is mentioned that it will apply to people with disabilities, whether for in-person or remote work, without distinction of the regime (public or private) or their academic training.
In summary, it also provides that so-called “prior experience” is not a condition before assuming duties.
Likewise, it establishes that it is counted as work experience from the beginning of pre-professional and professional practices, in accordance with compliance with Law 31396. (norm that recognizes such practices as such).
“Access to pre-professional practices does not require requirements related to previous experience, courses, specialization programs and/or diplomas in certain subjects,” noted the parliamentarian.
