Public sector workers and ONP pensioners will be able to collect their money in March according to the dates detailed in the official schedule of the Ministry of Economy.
Starting this Thursday, March 7, payment will begin to the more than 740,000 pensioners of the various regimes administered by the Pension Normalization Office (ONP). In the case of retirees who belong to Decree Law No. 19990, they will be able to collect their money according to the initial letter of their paternal surname and the distribution of this amount will be effective through ATMs, authorized agents and visits to home offered by the Banco de la Nación.
This procedure appears in the annual calendar approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) through the Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 005-2023-EF/11.01, which also includes the payment dates of the salaries of public administration workers. ONP, March 2024: what is the pension payment schedule?
The payment schedule of the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) for the month of March has been established taking into account the initial letter of the pensioners’ paternal surname. In that sense, the subscriptions will begin on March 7 and will extend until the 12th of the same month. Therefore, it is important that the more than 680,000 retirees pay attention to the following dates:
- Thursday March 7: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between A and C.
- Friday March 8: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between D and L.
- Monday, March 11th: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between M and Q.
- Tuesday March 12: pensioners with paternal surnames that begin with the letters between R and Z.
- Friday March 15: international agreement. Includes pensioners from Law No. 27803.
- From March 13 to 22: home payment.
Furthermore, since Wednesday, March 13, payments will be made to more than 60,000 pensioners belonging to other regimes such as DLN° 20530 and custom pensions, DLN° 18846, Fishing Regime, Law No. 30003 (REP and TDEP) and Complementary Risk Work Insurance. It is worth mentioning that in the case of these retirees, home visits by ONP staff will be effective from March 16 to 22.
