The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) will provide more than 59,000 credits to reactivate the economy of farming families.
Through emergency decree 003-2024, the transfer of more than S/100 million was authorized for the financing of the Fund for the Financial Inclusion of Small Agricultural Producers (Fifppa).
This plan occurs within the framework of the Unidos plan. Fifppa will provide financing under preferential conditions and at a lower interest rate through Agrobanco.
It is worth noting that it was created in 2020 with allocations of S/100 million for that year, and S/49 million in 2023.
The emergency decree in question also gives powers to Midagri to regulate the implementation of Igapro, a key instrument for investments in hydraulic infrastructure in the sector and which will speed up the process of approving technical files in up to one year in order to make projects more efficient.
