The State will invest in Euskadi and Navarra 10.77% and 15.32% less in 2022

In addition, the draft law on General State Budgets establishes a provisional quota for the Basque Country of 1,407 million euros. Congress has already set the calendar for the processing of the Accounts.

The Spanish Government will invest in Euskadi and Navarra 10.77% and 15.32% less in 2022, according to the draft law on General State Budgets that has been presented this Wednesday in the Congress of Deputies.

Specifically, the Basque Autonomous Community will receive from the State 489.56 million euros in investments, that is, 59.12 million less than in 2021; while, Navarra will receive 77.08 million euros, 13.94 million less.

In addition, the Accounts project establishes a Provisional quota for the Basque Country of 1,407 million euros.

Given that the methodology to set the quota for the five-year period 2022-2024 has not yet been approved, in compliance with the provisions of the Economic Agreement, the Spanish Government has budgeted the provisional gross quota for the year 2022 as one more quota than the previous five-year period , in an amount of 1,407 million euros.

On the other hand, the Bureau of the Congress of Deputies has approved the calendar of processing of the new General State Budgets and has set its first vote for November 4, that of the total amendments.
