The Petroperú Administrative Workers Union (STAPP) applauded President Dina Boluarte’s support for the state company, giving it “technical and non-political management.”

The union points out that with the return to the administration of oil lots and the start-up of the new Talara refinery, the efficiency of fuel production is improved and guarantees supply at affordable prices, in addition to being “where private companies do not reach.” ”.

Thus, they urged the Boluarte administration to act quickly to prevent Petroperú’s financial situation from worsening, since “the disappearance of the company will affect the country’s supply, the security of the State, the terminal facilities and the plants to which it operates. national level, in addition, to break the equity of the balance of payments and put collection at risk.”

The union also rejected the statements of some officials “who seek to discredit the company” and assure that they do not forget the servers who, during their time at Petroperú, turned it “into an employment agency to pay favors” – in reference to the terms like ‘faenón’, ‘petroaudios’ and ‘petrojuergas’.
